- Notes: Gekisai means to destroy or demolish. As in every katas,
always look-step-execute.
Mokuso, then Yoi with Ibuki.
- Step west with the left foot and take sanchin-dachi. Execute jodan-uke.
- Step forward in sanchin-dachi with the
right foot and punch right Chudan
Oi Tsuki.
- Steb back, with the right foot, body facing north but head looking west, in
Kiba-Dachi and execute
a left Gedan-Barai.
- Turn head 180°, looking east. Bring the left foot back, using it as the
back foot of a Sanchin-Dachi facing east.
Execute jodan-uke.
- Step east, with the left foot and take Sanchin-Dachi. Punch left
Chudan Oi Tsuki.
- Steb back, with the left foot, body facing north but head looking east, in
Kiba-Dachi and execute
a right Gedan-Barai.
- Right foot steps north in Sanchin-Dachi and perform a
slow Chudan-Uchi-Uke with
Ibuki.
- Left foot steps north in Sanchin-Dachi and perform a
slow Chudan-Uchi-Uke with
Ibuki.
- Right foot steps forward in Sanchin-Dachi and perform a
slow Chudan-Uchi-Uke with
Ibuki.
- Perform a left foot Chudan
Mae-Gueri and return to Zenkutsu-Dachi facing
north.
- With the left arm/hand, perform in quick succession the following 3 movements:
Hiji-tate-ate,
Tettsui-Uchi and
Gedan-Barai. Than
with the right
Gedan Gyaku-Tsuki.
- Look south, right foot performs Achi-Barai and lands on left
knee with hands in "cup and saucer" position. Step south with right foot in
Kiba-Dachi and perform
shuto-tsuki to the throat
with the right hand.
- Left foot steps south in Sanchin-Dachi and perform a
slow Chudan-Uchi-Uke with
Ibuki.
- Right foot steps south in Sanchin-Dachi and perform a
slow Chudan-Uchi-Uke with
Ibuki.
- Right foot steps back in Sanchin-Dachi and perform a
slow Chudan-Uchi-Uke with
Ibuki.
- Perform a right foot Chudan
Mae-Gueri and return to Zenkutsu-Dachi facing
